The 20th Annual Beaver Volunteer Fire Department 5K/10K Race

The Beaver Volunteer Fire Department 5K/10K Race is the longest continual and most attended organized race in Beaver County.
One visit to the Borough of Beaver and you’ll see why! Our scenic town boasts broad, tree-lined streets, thriving downtown, and lots of public parks. Beaver is on the National Register of Historic Places and it is named as a “Tree City USA”.
A long stretch of the race course overlooks the majestic Ohio River. BVFD has been proud to co-sponsor with Heritage Valley Health Systems for the past 20 years.

The annual race/walk is Beaver County’s premier race event and uses a scenic route through the historic neighborhoods of Beaver PA.
All intersections are manned by police, fire fighters, and community volunteers to avoid problems between cars and race participants.
Walkers
All walkers will be timed as part of the 5K race. No separate awards for walkers, but times will be included in 5K race and will be eligible for 5K age group awards. If you do not intend to walk the entire course, please do not wear a timing chip. 5K starts at 9AM.

In the event of dangerous weather, the race may be delayed, but will be held that day. No refunds issued for any reason.

All racers must pick-up timing chip the morning of race $35 fee for unreturned timing chips.
The 10K race will begin promptly at 8:00am, followed by the 5K race at 9:00am.
Water and fruit will be provided at the Finish Line.
