Capture that excitement with the entire family as the Beaver Volunteer Fire Department proudly presents the Third Annual Fire Truck Cruise and Safety Festival.

Fire trucks from departments across the valley will be bumper to bumper along the main street (officially Third Street) of Beaver, Pennsylvania.

Get up close and personal with the many different types of fire fighting vehicles that will be on display throughout the day. Antique engines, aerials, pumpers, rescue, brush, tankers and trucks of every size and shape will create a fantastic and unique photo opportunity.

Gather the whole family and join us on the tree lined streets of historic Beaver to celebrate the Fire Truck, an ageless invention that has protected and captivated us for generations.

Fire and Safety Equipment Venders will be on site. Like any good festival, there will be food, refreshments and souvenirs to go along with a full schedule of events that offer something for every member of the family!

An incredible amount of interest has been shown for this 5K race through the beautiful streets of historic Beaver. A great way to start the full day of festivities.

Water Battle Competition - Teams of fire fighters from departments all over the area face off against each other in the infamous "Battle of the Barrel". There is more at stake than just department bragging rights! The winning team will take home the HUGE "Traveling Trophy" to proudly display and keep for a year. They will defend their title at next years festival.
What department will bring home the 2005 Water Battle Trophy? Come out and see!

County Smoke House Exhibit - You and your children can explore the Smoke House and learn what to and what not-to-do in a fire situation. Every family needs to have a game plan ready in the event of a fire at home.

Virtual Reality Booth - Ever wonder what it's like to be a fire fighter?
Let the Beaver Volunteer Fire Department give you a sample! Try on all the equipment, helmet, coat, pants, boots, gloves, even the S.C.B.A. (air bottle and mask). Great photo opportunity for the little fire fighter in your family who wants to be an American hero!
If you'd like you can even experience the sensation of being in a smoke filled room. (Without the real smoke, of course!)

Fire Fighter Challenge - Fire Fighters and members of the public will race against the clock to complete four common tasks. Hitting the hydrant, carrying charged lines, working with heavy tools, and "rescuing" a 170 lb. dummy. At the end of the day, the person with the best time will carry home the coveted “Fire Fighter Challenge Trophy”.
